About the Author
Craig Shirley, President of Shirley and Banister Public Affairs, an influential Washington government affairs firm, is a much sought after commentator on national politics, government, cultural trends, and conservatism. Craig ran independent campaigns in support of Reagan, both in 1980 and 1984 and has come to know all the primary players in Reagan's circles and the national media. He received a degree in history and political science from Springfield College in Massachusetts. With his wife Zorine and his four children, he divides his time between his homes in Alexandria, Virginia and "Trickle Down Point" on the Rappahannock River in Lancaster, Virginia. His hobbies include sailing, writing, hunting, waterskiing and coaching youth lacrosse. This is his first book.
Andrea Hedberg, Mr. Shirley's research coordinator on Reagan's Revolution, is the principal of a Washington DC-based political research consultancy.
